The South Routt School District Board of Education regular meetings shall be held in the District Board Room, on the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. (subject to change ) . The work of the school boards is classified into five major objectives:

  • Community leadership and advocacy

What School Boards Do Not Do:

  • School Boards do not hire faculty
  • School Boards do not engage with faculty other than at the Mission, Vision or policy level
  • School Boards do not manage the district
  • School Boards do not do the work of the superintendent
  • School Boards do not engage in operations
  • They do not make decisions on items brought up during “Items from the audience”. Items that require action must be on the agenda prior to the meeting.
